From the toxic remnants of lead and zinc mining, known locally as "chat," emerges the noise rock quartet Chat Pile. Their music, much like the toxic heaps in their hometown of Oklahoma, encapsulates the existential agony of the 21st century in a suffocating and grotesque soundscape. The once-promised American Dream has given way to despair, echoed poignantly in their haunting melodies.

Excitingly, this marks Chat Pile's first performance in Budapest! Their debut album, God’s Country, made waves as one of the best of 2022 according to Rolling Stone and SPIN, and their 2024 release, Cool World, is already garnering critical acclaim.

Joining them is the incredible Ragana, a doom metal duo from Washington. Their name translates to "witch" in Latvian and Lithuanian, and their music is a mesmerizing blend of oppressive atmospheres and politically charged, relentless lyrics that create a beautifully unsettling experience.
