Clay Club: Figurines and Photo Stands

If you’re tired of staring at screens and want to get your hands dirty, clay club is made<3 for <3 u<3!

This month, dive into the world of polymer clay as you sculpt up to three of your own miniature figurines or photo holders. Other creations we may explore together include, toothbrush stands, incense holders, chopstick stands, ring stands, &&& more! 🖌️

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned clay enthusiast, we’ll help you get comfortable with the materials and tools. Enjoy an inspiring ideation session that'll spark your creativity! We'll turn up the tunes as you sculpt among new friends for a delightful evening. 🌟

As with all RecCreate events, you can expect to go on this journey with a room full of lovely strangers. We will create opportunities for connection, fostering the spirit of community because it’s so much more fun to create together! 🎶

What to Expect:

Our clubs at RecCreate feel just like visiting a friend's apartment for a craft hangout where all the materials are ready, and we show you the basics before the music starts bumping! Our emphasis is on process, play, and community building, with conversation prompts throughout.

Getting Here:

The venue is a hidden art studio located at 20 Grand Ave in Brooklyn on the 6th floor of a commercial building! Upon arrival, buzz #604, push to open, and take the elevator up to 6 (make sure to press the elevator button until it turns red!). 🚪
Take a right out of the elevator and a left at the end of the hallway; the door will be the first one on your right.

Cancellation Policy:

Tickets are non-refundable/exchange-able, so please double-check your calendar! If you can't make it, feel free to give your ticket to a friend or swap it on our ticket swap board. Just tell them to use your name!
