🧹 Clean Up & Connect: A Community Evening at MOOT to Celebrate World Environment Day
Roll up your sleeves, lace up your shoes, and join us for an evening that mixes purpose with good company. We're gathering at MOOT for a neighbourhood clean-up followed by food, drinks, and great conversation.
Whether you're a runner, a walker, a cyclist, or someone who just wants to grab a bag and chat with new faces along the way, there's a place for you here.
📍 Location
MOOT - Juliusstraße 64, 12051 Berlin (U Grenzallee)
Outdoor area, showroom, kitchen and offices all open to us. Parking available. Indoor space if it rains, so come rain or shine.
🗓 How the evening flows
18:00 — Doors open, check-in, bagdrop
18:30 — Clean-up kicks off (about 1 hour)
19:30 — Quick tour of the MOOTs space (10–15 min)
20:00 — Food, drinks, and networking under the open sky (or indoors if the weather has other plans)
22:00 — Doors close
🏃 Pick your pace
🏃‍♀️ Runners — Join our running clean-up crew with a lead, mid-pack and sweep guide. We cover more ground and have a bit of fun doing it. Capped at ~20 runners.
🚶 Walkers — Take it easy, take it social. Perfect if you want to actually talk to people while you collect.
🚴 Cyclists — Cover the wider perimeter and bring back the more far-flung finds.
🎁 Prizes
We'll be handing out upcycled goods and vouchers for:
Top collector (most bags filled)
Funniest / weirdest find of the evening
🍔 Food & drinks
Barbecue if the weather plays along, with a pizza backup if it doesn't. Drinks provided on-site thanks to our partners.
🧤 What we provide
Bag drop
Clean-up bags, gloves, and good vibes. Just bring yourself, comfortable clothes, and a refillable water bottle if you have one.
🎟 Spots are limited
We're capping registration at 80 to keep things comfortable. Once full, you'll be added to a waiting list - so register early.
⚠️ Participation & responsibility
By joining, you participate at your own risk and take full responsibility for your safety and belongings. The organisers and MOOT can't be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage. Please follow road and traffic rules during the clean-up, look out for yourself and each other, and use the gloves provided when handling waste.
