ClimateHack Amsterdam: Spotlight on Dutch Deeptech ๐ฌ
You're invited to ClimateHack Amsterdam: Spotlight on Dutch Deeptech!
The toughest climate challenges require breakthrough solutions. Climate deeptech relies on scientific discovery and engineering breakthroughs rather than just software iteration. From next-gen energy to advanced materials to industrial decarbonization and more, deeptech is pushing the boundaries of whatโs possible in climate innovation.
Join us as we spotlight a few leading Netherlands-based climate deeptech solutions.
If you're planning to go to the Amsterdam Deeptech Showcase (10 June, 10:00-19:00), great news: this event is in the same location making it easy to go to both!
This event is an official side event of Hello Tomorrow, where breakthrough science meets the capital, the partners, and the policy that turns it into reality. 3,200 of the worldโs leading minds in deep tech all gather 11โ12 June 2026 in Amsterdam. Get your ticket at https://hello-tomorrow.org/global-summit.

SPEAKERS
Peter Rowe, Co-Founder & CEO, Triple BioTriple Bio is developing RumeNRGโข, a new technology platform shown in vitro to boost yields and reduce methane in cattle. The company was founded in 2025 by Paris-based climate tech venture studio, Marble, and is backed by some of Europeโs top deep tech VCs including Nucleus Capital and Positron Ventures. The company has raised >โฌ1.5M of funding to date and established strong commercial and R&D partnerships to bring RumeNRG to market.
Sweder Reuchlin, Business Development Manager, KitepowerKitepower delivers on-site and beyond-the-grid electricity, addressing grid congestion and the lack of green power access at construction and industrial sites, and rural areas like farms. Spun out of TU Delft, Kitepower's patented Airborne Wind Energy (AWE) systems harness stronger, more persistent winds at high altitudes using up to 90% less material than conventional wind turbines, while producing the same energy output. The containerized systems deploy rapidly without civil works or heavy foundations. Having successfully completed its first commercial pilots, Kitepower is now scaling to its next customers. Headquartered in Delft, the Netherlands.
Fedor Stomakhin, Co-Founder & COO, Spiral HydrogenSpiral Hydrogen is developing a bubble-free centrifugal alkaline electrolyzer that eliminates the core inefficiency in water electrolysis, delivering green hydrogen at parity with or below the cost of fossil gas-based production and making decarbonization of industrial feedstocks economically viable at scale. Longer term, Spiral Hydrogen envisions a generator-integrated electrolyzer that produces hydrogen directly from rotation, turning wind turbines and other rotating machinery into hydrogen generators without any intermediate grid infrastructure.
Tom Clement, Co-founder & CEO, New Dawn BioNew Dawn Bio grows premium hardwood directly from tree stem cells, producing wood in its final product form in days rather than the decades it takes a tree to mature. By cultivating the worldโs entire hardwood supply (~200Mt) from cell culture at up to 10,000x the speed of natural growth, New Dawn displaces deforestation-driven logging, eliminating up to 8.1Gt of carbon emissions from forest loss while taking over a $1T industry. Recent โฌ2.1M pre-seed by CapitalT, ย Norrsken Evolve, and prominent angels.
Ananta Vangmai, Founder & CEO, Revive BatteryRevive Battery is a circular energy infrastructure startup that extends the life of industrial batteries through regeneration technology, helping businesses reduce emissions, lower costs, and accelerate the transition to a more sustainable energy future.
