About the event

A closed-door working session for scale-up founders in the middle of expansion decisions.

About this event
This is not a panel and there are no presentations. Everyone in the room is expected to contribute.
The Expansion Lab is a highly curated working session — maximum 10 guests/founders — for scale-ups at an inflection point. Entering a new market, scaling beyond their current one. Consolidating before the next push. Whatever the decision, this room is built to work through it in real time.
Why apply to attend
Most London Tech Week conversations stay at surface level. You meet people, exchange cards, and nothing moves.
This room is different.
What happens in the room
You come with a specific challenge: market entry structure, first customers, hiring, pricing, legal setup, or capital. The room works through it in real time.
Facilitators and peers contribute perspective, pushback, and practical experience. Everyone will actively participates, and we'll leave with 2–3 actionable next steps you can implement.
Facilitated by:
Jimmy Rippon - Global Head of Demand Gen at Swoop
Jimmy is a UK-based Australian marketer with experience working for a variety of companies and agencies including high-growth startups and scaleups in the UK, Germany, and Australia. He currently Global Head of Demand Gen at Swoop Funding, a platform for SMEs to access the funding and services they need to grow their business.
