A Colonial 250th Anniversary Celebration

Join us for a remarkable celebration at the Daniel Boone Homestead as we mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence! 🎉 This historic event will take place on June 27, 2026, from 12:00 - 20:00.

Experience a variety of colonial and early American demonstrations, along with exciting activities and live music. Enjoy military demonstrations presented by reenacting groups, who will set up small encampments throughout the venue. 🎭

Participate in a reading of the Declaration of Independence, engage in meet-and-greet sessions, and attend ongoing presentations throughout the day. As the sun sets, prepare for our special 'Evening on Green’ featuring live bands performing on the lawn. 🌳🎶
