On 11 September 2001, in the wake of US airspace closures, 38 international flights were diverted to the small town of Gander, Newfoundland. Almost overnight, the town's population swells as 7,000 stranded passengers, affectionately referred to as “come from aways,” arrive, uncertain of when they'll return home.

What unfolds is an uplifting narrative revealing how a small community opened its doors, hearts, and lives to those in need. Come From Away is vibrantly brought to life through a fast-paced cast, featuring interwoven stories told with music, movement, and minimal staging.
