D-DAY 82 – WW2 HISTORICAL CELEBRATION DAY

Join us for a spectacular D-Day Celebration Day, commemorating the 82nd Anniversary of D-Day from June 6, 1944! In partnership with Aero Legends, this event will take place at Compton Abbas Airfield.

🌞 Experience History:
Feel the thrill as vintage aircraft fly in, including iconic Spitfires like Elizabeth and Lady Luck, along with a collection of military vehicles adorning our paddock, all set to commemorate the day.

🚁 Exciting Activities:

• Vintage vocalist Sally will serenade you with timeless wartime classics.
• The Shaftesbury Town Silver Band, featuring 23 talented musicians, will bring warmth and character to the festivities.
• Enjoy afternoon cream teas, summer picnic boxes, and feast hampers, washed down with refreshing ginger beer!

🍬 Sweet Treats:
There will be pop-up pick and mix sweets for those craving rhubarb & custard or sugar barley treats.

• Car Parking: £10 (must be booked with entry tickets)
• Adult (16yrs +): £15
• Child (5 – 15yrs): £4.50
• Under 5s: FREE (please book a ticket for children under 5 to assist us in planning)
