Den mistrů Moser – vstup do areálu
On Saturday, 13 June, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Moser glassworks in Karlovy Vary will once again open its doors to the public. After a successful first year, the event Moser Masters’ Day returns, giving visitors the chance to experience the world of crystal up close.
Throughout the day, visitors can look forward to extended tours that will take them even deeper behind the scenes of the production of Moser’s iconic works. They will meet master glassmakers in person and see their craftsmanship from just a few steps away. Demonstrations of traditional handglassmaking techniques, listed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List, will offer a unique insight into a craft that is rarely seen.
In addition to the tours, visitors can also look forward to the opportunity to purchase crystal pieces at special prices, as well as enjoy great food, drinks, and music. There will also be meetings with prominent Moser personalities – Creative Director Jan Plecháč, holders of the title Knight of Arts and Letters Tomáš Lesser and Zdeněk Drobný, and Jaromír Smutný, the absolute winner of GCWC 2024 and winner of the Global Craftsmen World Cup 2024 – among others.
For the youngest visitors, a sandbox with molds shaped like iconic Moser products will be prepared. The children’s program will also include various physical activities and additional entertaining side events.
