True to tradition, Den Anden Side is opening our doors for Distortion Club. This year we are proud to present a one of a kind live performance by pioneers Extrawelt, and an electrifying DJ set by Anastasia Kristensen.
The event is free for guests with a Distortion Festival Pass.

Living and breathing electronic music for over twenty years, Arne Schaffhausen and Wayan Raabe have carved out their own place in dance music history. Starting as DJs before moving into production through Hamburg’s X-Dream studio, their early projects Midimiliz and Spirallianz gained major recognition. In 2005, they launched Extrawelt, marking a new musical direction. Their debut release, “Soopertrack,” was picked up by James Holden’s Border Community label, launching a career filled with acclaimed records, remixes, and live performances at leading clubs and festivals worldwide.

Their debut album Schöne Neue Extrawelt was widely celebrated, winning “Best Album 2008” by Groove Magazine and Raveline, which also named them “Best Live Act.” Their second album In Aufruhr followed in 2011 on Cocoon Recordings to similar acclaim. Known for their hardware-driven live performances, Extrawelt have spent over a decade refining a sound defined by spontaneity, technical precision, and deep sonic exploration.

With their third album Fear of an Extra Planet arriving in 2017 and their fourth, Unknown, in 2018, Extrawelt continued pushing boundaries with bold compositions that balance techno’s roots with futuristic innovation. Their live shows remain at the core of their identity, constantly evolving while honoring the purity of electronic music’s past and future.

Wardrobe: Lockers are free to use with a lock. Bring your own or purchase one for 50 DKK at the entrance.

Door Policy - Soft Selection:
Everyone is welcome as long as they are arriving in a responsible state (e.g. not being too intoxicated or unfriendly). Our door staff will still make sure that everyone who enters the club is being made aware of our policy.

‍All club nights operate with some level of selection. This event operates with the lightest level, Soft Selection. You can always reach out to the management before or after an event on awareness@denandenside.com with questions or concerns. For the safety of our guests and staff, we may find it necessary to deny entry without providing an explanation.

The Awareness Team is at the club every weekend, identifiable by their bright green shirts labeled "AWARENESS." You can also reach them by contacting the door staff.
Guests must speak with the door staff upon entry to ensure everyone is informed about our code of conduct and policies. Violating these policies can result in immediate eviction without a refund.
