A doodle is a turn taken without a destination, it’s the unexpected lines that somehow make a mark. We’re bringing that same energy to the Doka basement. Proactive daydreaming for the curious souls. Not so serious dance for the ones that feel adventurous.

Lenny has been in it since before it was easy to be. Starting out in Eindhoven, shaped by the Detroit and Dutch lineage - Drexciya, Legowelt - he’s carried that weight into Amsterdam’s underground without ever wearing it lightly. A devoted digger, his sets move across genres like a conversation rather than a tracklist: eclectic, hypnotic, and never quite where you expect them to go. He closes the night, and that’s not an accident. His knowledge runs deep and so does the music.

r.omy doesn’t waste a record. The Antwerp-based selector has built her name on sets that are as intentional as they are felt – deep, elegant, and quietly daring. There’s a rare quality to how she plays: everything sounds connected, like each track was always meant to follow the last. Her sets don’t just move a room, they stay with you. Horst, Giegling, Kiosk Radio, Crevette Records, residencies at Small Steps and TRAUM: the trail speaks for itself. She holds the core chapter of the night, which tells you everything about what we’re going for.

sima k is Amsterdam-based and newer to the circuit, but you wouldn’t know it from her selections. She pulls from early 00s grooves and deep house with a lightness that feels like she’s been doing this forever – curious, playful, and warm. Residency at GIMIC in Brussels, a growing network across Amsterdam and London, and the driving force behind Doodle itself. The night starts with her for a reason.

Doodle is a space for everyone. On the floor, in the crowd, behind the decks we’re here for each other. No rulebook, we believe the best nights happen when everyone looks out for one another. We’re building something together, one night at a time, and we hope you feel that from the moment you walk in.
