Finghin Collins piano
About the event
Join us for an enchanting evening celebrating the legacy of Ignace Pleyel, a significant figure in piano history and a student of Haydn. After his passing in 1831, his Parisian company continued crafting exquisite pianos, inspiring composers like Chopin and Debussy. 🎶
Finghin Collins honors Pleyel through his performance on a beautifully restored Pleyel 280 concert grand piano from 1937. The program also features delightful miniatures by Joseph O’Kelly and Georges Pfeiffer, both influential partners in the Pleyel firm.
Immerse yourself in this musical journey at the iconic Wigmore Hall!🌟
