Fortress Under Siege, forged in Athens during the mid-90s, has been a significant influence in the progressive power metal scene. With their debut mini-CD in 1996, they've sculpted a distinctive auditory landscape, intertwining traditional heavy metal with intricate melodies. 🌌
Their latest release, “Envy,” showcases their modern sound while remaining deeply rooted in epic metal traditions. Recorded at Devasoundz Studios with the prolific producer Fotis Benardo, this album dives into rich themes of mythology, history, sci-fi, and social commentary—accompanied by stunning artwork from Ioannis Koutrikas.
