About the event

Gather your friends and family for a fantastic evening at the Seattle Art Museum, where admission is FREE every first Thursday of the month! Visit from 5–8 pm and enjoy a variety of activities alongside the magnificent art exhibitions.

Evening Highlights:

  • Public Tours: Explore the highlights from SAM’s collection with 60-minute tours at 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 6 pm — meeting at the top of the 3rd floor escalators.
  • Drop-in Art Activity with Jessie Blackmer: Get creative at the Brotman Forum, running from 5–8 pm.
  • Youth Photographers Reception: Check out stunning works from EarthCorps' high school interns in the 1st Floor Community Gallery, featuring urban ecosystem photography.
  • Seattle Hall-Of-Fame All-Stars Performance: Enjoy jazz tunes from iconic local musicians from 5:30–7:30 pm in South Hall, presented by Seattle Jazz Fellowship.
  • SAM Gallery Artist Talk: Join us for an insightful discussion at 5:30–6:30 pm.
  • Beyond Mysticism Public Tour: Discover this special exhibition with a tour at 6–7 pm.
  • Spotlight Talk with Zola Mumford: Don’t miss the informative session on Washington Hall from 7-7:30 pm, where you can learn about preserving community histories.
