Join us for an exciting day of exploration with your Brownies, Guides, and Rainbows at the RAF Museum! 🌈 Experience engaging, badge-linked activities specially designed for Girlguiding groups:

At the Museum:

• Dedicated Girlguiding Events: Participate in hands-on experiences on selected Saturdays throughout the year, led by our knowledgeable Learning team.

• Brownies Aviation Badge Event: Enjoy a fun-filled day tailored for Brownies (ages 7–10) to complete their Aviation Badge! Activities include sketching magnificent RAF aircraft, embarking on aviation-themed trails, and taking part in an interactive parachuting experiment workshop.

  • Cost: £5 per child (includes Aviation Badge).

• Black History Month Badge Event: Celebrate Black History Month by delving into inspiring stories of Black role models in the Royal Air Force. Guides (ages 10–14) will engage in an interactive presentation, explore museum objects, and complete a themed trail before receiving their special badge.

  • Cost: £5 per child (includes Black History Month Girlguiding Badge).

Digital Trail:

Enhance your visit with our free online Scouts and Guides Trail, packed with aviation challenges, phonetic alphabet fun, and fantastic photo opportunities throughout the Museum!

Lunch and Experiences:

We provide a lunch space for your unit to enjoy packed lunches upon booking requests. Special group discounts may be available for experiences like the 4D Theatre and Flight Simulator—enquire when you book!

Bring the Museum experience to your unit with our 'Fantastic Flight' video, perfect for Rainbows! The video offers an engaging look at how planes fly and the evolution of aircraft designs.
