Grand Opening Ceremony of the Prairie Boardwalk

Join the Willow Waterhole Greenspace Conservancy for the momentous grand opening of the Boardwalk Trail in the Native Prairie Preserve!

✨ This stunning .3-mile elevated boardwalk provides public access to a federally protected 15-acre prairie, which is home to threatened and endangered native plant species, including:

• 🌾 Texas Windmill Grass
• 🌼 Houston Camphor Daisy
• 🌸 Endangered Texas Prairie Dawn

🖼️ Guests can enjoy a self-guided stroll along the trail, gather for insightful remarks in the Outdoor Classroom located mid-trail, and indulge in light refreshments while networking with community members before the much-anticipated ribbon-cutting ceremony!

🚗 Parking is conveniently available at the Prairie Lake lot located at 4800 Gasmer Drive. The event will kick off at the Outdoor Classroom.
