Join us for an unforgettable evening filled with nature, history, and stargazing at Hike & Sip, designed exclusively for adults 21 and over!

Explore the majestic Redwood forest with expert guidance from Chabot’s outdoor educators. Discover the fascinating ecosystem, delve into the cultural heritage of the Ohlone peoples, and learn about Oakland’s vibrant history. 🌌

Event Highlights:

• Guided Stroll (with Nature Journaling Program):
  📍 7:30 PM, 3 miles, approx. 90 minutes
• Immersive Trek:
  📍 5:00 PM, 4.25 miles, approx. 120 minutes

After your hike, unwind at Chabot’s Observation Deck with drinks and charcuterie. Enjoy stargazing through telescopes (weather permitting) and hear captivating star stories brought to life under the night sky. ✨

Nature Journaling Program:

During the Guided Stroll, engage in nature journaling and field observation.

• Slow down and notice patterns, textures, and life along the trail
• We provide the pen and paper and guide you through mindful observation techniques. No prior art or journaling experience is required!

Tickets include:
🍷 Two drink tickets (for beer, wine, or non-alcoholic beverages)
🥪 Refreshments

For a comfortable experience, wear layers, bring sturdy shoes, a water bottle, mosquito repellent, and a flashlight for evening hikes. 🥾🌙

• Hikes may be canceled due to severe weather or low enrollment with refund or rescheduling options.
• Animals are not permitted on hikes. 🐾
• Complete our Hiking Waiver & Consent Form prior to arrival and bring your ticket(s) for easy check-in.
