📅 Date: 11 juni 17:00 - 19:00
📍 Location: Interpretive Center Theater, 1 Lewis and Clark Trl, Hartford, IL 62048-1501, USA
Dive deep into the past as we examine ten significant objects from the Illinois State Museum's collection. Each object opens a window to the lives of the people who once used them, presenting a narrative against the backdrop of various pivotal periods such as:
- The first Indigenous peoples of Illinois
- The Revolutionary War era
- Euro-American immigration
- The Civil War
- The Great Depression
- The Vietnam War
✨ Bringing your own cherished object or a family photo can enrich the experience! At the conclusion of the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to share their own family stories associated with these meaningful objects.
📢 This unique program aims to remind us that history is not just something of the past; it is continuously being forged through our personal and shared experiences.
