Insectopia: Mission Monarch | Junior Naturalist Summer Camp
Join us in uncovering the enchanting world of invertebrates! 🌍 This camp places a special spotlight on the Monarch Butterfly and involves activities focused on protecting and restoring its habitat, along with contributing to the Monarch Watch citizen science project.
Designed exclusively for youth aged 12-13, our Junior Naturalist camp is led by the dedicated staff of the Humber Arboretum. Participants will enhance their skills while gaining a deeper understanding of local ecosystems in a hands-on manner.
Campers will spend their days fully immersed in nature, exploring the stunning 100 hectares of the Humber Arboretum. They'll engage in specialized outdoor activities across diverse environments including forests, rivers, meadows, wetlands, gardens, and ponds.
