🌊 Inwood Canoe Club's Sunday Open House

Join us for a delightful experience at our free guided kayak trips along the beautiful Hudson River, just north of the iconic George Washington Bridge! Every Sunday from Memorial Day to Labor Day, immerse yourself in nature while paddling with friends, family, or even meeting new acquaintances. 🚣‍♀️

🗓️ Important Information:

• Duration: Enjoy 20-minute guided trips on the water.
• Registration: Sign up in person starting at 9 a.m. for three “waves” of paddling, on a first come, first served basis. Arrive on time to secure your spot!
• Tour Times:
  • Wave 1: Arrive at 9:45 a.m., launch at 10 a.m.
  • Wave 2: Arrive at 10:30 a.m., launch at 10:45 a.m.
  • Wave 3: Arrive at 11:15 a.m., launch at 11:30 a.m.

🛶 What to Expect:

• Paddle in one of our 12 sit-on-top kayaks or a tandem kayak designed for two.
• Experience our unique “canoemaran” that accommodates up to six guests + two ICC “Turtles” (members).

📝 Requirements:

• All participants must be able to swim.
• Minimum age of 8 years; guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• We supply the boat, paddle, and personal flotation device (PFD), no prior paddling experience is necessary!
• Dress in clothes that can get wet and wear appropriate shoes.
• Please secure your valuables as you will need to leave them at the boathouse or use a waterproof bag. The club is not liable for any lost items.
• No pets allowed at Open House.
