Peter Quilter's tragicomedy gives viewers a glimpse into one of Judy Garland's last attempts to return to the stage. However, a fatal cocktail of fame, stimulants, financial instability, and failed marriages does not make it any easier for her this time either. Who truly wants to help her, and who is only looking out for themselves? Can her new love save her, or will she sing her greatest hit, "Over the Rainbow," for the last time?
