About Krishna Das:
Bringing together traditional kirtan and modern melodies, Krishna Das has been dubbed yoga's "rock star." With his profoundly soulful voice, he has captivated audiences worldwide, moving the chanting experience from yoga centers to concert halls. Known affectionately as “KD,” he is the best-selling Western chant artist, with 16 acclaimed albums to his name. His journey began in the late '60s with spiritual teacher Ram Dass and continued in India, where he met his beloved guru, Neem Karoli Baba. After his guru's passing, KD found solace and strength through music and chant, leading public gatherings since 1994.

In February 2013, he showcased his talent at the Grammy Awards, reaching millions online. His award-winning documentary, One Track Heart: The Story of Krishna Das, has toured over 100 cities in the US and is available on DVD.
