Join us in a heartfelt celebration of America’s 250th anniversary with a Community Flag Initiative in Santee! 🌟 Growing up during the Bicentennial in Lakeside, CA, I cherished the vibrant displays of patriotism, from painted hydrants to community projects that united us all. As a Camp Fire Girl, I helped paint those iconic hydrants, and those memories inspire me to rekindle that spirit in Santee!
From June 14 (Flag Day) to July 4, let's fill our city with 250 certified American flags flying proudly at homes and businesses. 🎉
To kick off this initiative, I'm excited to provide 50 free flag kits to residents who need them!
❤️ Join the movement by:
- Filling Santee with US flags!
- Sharing photos of flags waving high!
- Reminding ourselves of the beauty of community and togetherness!
Let's make Santee shine in red, white, and blue as we celebrate America’s milestone! 🌈
