Learn to draw a fantasy map

Join artist-cartographer Kevin Sheehan for an immersive workshop where you'll learn the essential skills needed to create hand-drawn fantasy maps! ✏️🖌️

We'll explore various aspects of map-making, including:

• Planning Your Map: Understand the stages involved in crafting your masterpiece.
• Calligraphy: Master the art of lettering place names beautifully.
• Decorative Elements: Enhance your map with banners, ships, sea monsters, compass roses, flags, and more!
• Geographical Features: Learn to depict towns, buildings, trees, mountains, rivers, lakes, and coastlines.
• Finishing Touches: Add a decorative title and border to make your map stand out!

Ticket Price: £25
Age Requirement: Suitable for ages 12 and up.

Each participant will receive a set of supplies to keep, including:

• 3 black ‘fineliner’ drawing pens in various thicknesses
• 1 black calligraphy pen
• 1 mechanical pencil
• 3 sheets of thick A3-size drawing paper

Additional supplies like rulers, stencils, and erasers will be available to share, so feel free to bring your own drawing tools along! 🖍️✂️
