Let Freedom Ring Parade

🎉 Join us for the seventh annual Let Freedom Ring Parade hosted by the Downtown Sykesville Connection! 🇺🇸

🗓 Date: July 4, 2026
🕙 Time: Parade starts at 10 AM
📍 Location: Begins at Sykesville Middle School and travels down Springfield Avenue, culminating on Historic Main Street.

This year’s parade features approximately 35 participants in organized groups, showcasing floats and vehicles that will surely delight attendees! 🎈✨

🏆 Float Awards: All parade floats will be evaluated for various categories, with the overall winner taking home a $500 cash prize! Awards announced directly after the parade.

💡 Important Notes:

• Formation starts at Sykesville Middle School parking lot.
• Parade vehicles must arrive between 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM.
• Please follow the instructions provided by DSC staff in bright yellow vests.
• Participants must be ready when called; delays could impact lineup.
