Lino Printing Workshop
Unlocking ideas through material and process
After spending time exploring lino printing in my own practice, I’m opening this process through a workshop that focuses not only on the technique, but also on how ideas emerge and how we can translate them into physical form.
This session combines creative reflection and lino printing. We will begin by exploring how inspiration appears in everyday moments, thoughts, memories, feelings, and small observations that usually pass unnoticed.
Through guided prompts and discussion, we’ll look at how we think, how ideas form, and how shifting perspective can unlock new creative directions.
From there, we move into the material.
Lino carving is a process that asks for attention and presence. The act of carving slows the mind and connects thought directly with movement. An image that begins as a feeling or an idea gradually becomes a carved surface, ink, and finally a printed image.
The workshop moves between reflection, drawing, and printmaking, allowing participants to experience how inner ideas can take physical shape.
