Maddy Ringo began her musical journey busking on the streets of Toronto, bringing a fresh voice to the timeless tradition of American folk music. Growing up with a Canadian parent and an American peacenik, she developed her skills through the Rise Up Singing catalogue, drawing inspiration from legends like Joan Baez, Arlo Guthrie, and Bob Dylan.

Finbar Wall, an Irish-Canadian singer-songwriter, also leads the Hamilton band The Commune. His plainspoken lyrics, combining nostalgia with relevance, enhance the street-level rock’n’roll sound that has made his band a standout live act in Hamilton.
