Mare Nostrem: Swords of the Mediterranean

Join us for Mare Nostrem—a captivating exploration of diverse sword fighting traditions from the Mediterranean! Hosted by the Historical African Martial Arts Association and Toronto Historical Combatants, this event promises a thrilling experience for martial arts enthusiasts.

• Rapier from Italy
• Destreza from Spain
• Nimcha from the Maghreb region of North Africa

Each class will last 1 hour, and participants are encouraged to bring their own swords and protective gear. Don't worry if you don't have your own equipment—some loaners will be available!
