Markus Krunegård is a true creative force, known for his rich lyrics and multifaceted music. Since his solo debut in 2008, he's drawn from a seemingly endless source of inspiration to craft eloquent and insightful songs. Today, he stands as an essential trendsetter in Swedish alternative pop while being one of the country's most beloved artists.

In 2021, he released his two latest albums in Swedish, "Tutti Frutti – från lokalen under sushin" and "Kemtvätten", praised for their continued ingenuity. This trend continued with his most recent Finnish-language album, "Nokia & Ericsson" (2023). Now, he is promoting his tenth solo album, "Bastard", and has made headlines during the "Tour de Bastard" with his largest shows to date in Norrköping, followed by a performance at “Halva Globen” in Stockholm.

Alongside his performance at Avicii Arena, he launched the podcast “Halva Globen,” which delves into his artistic career with deep insights. Each episode is a retrospective journey, featuring some of Sweden's most knowledgeable Krunegård enthusiasts, exploring his unique lyrics and the significant impact his music has had on so many.
