We practice basic shamata (calm abiding) meditation. Short instructions are given before the sitting, in Swedish or English depending on the needs of the participants.
The aim of the practice is to calm and focus the mind, cultivating concentration and inner clarity. This form of meditation is often considered a foundation for insight (vipassanā) practice. We mainly work with mindfulness of breathing, alternating between sitting and walking meditation.
Please let us know in advance if you would like to participate. Registration by email before noon on the day of the event is appreciated.

Vi växlar mellan sittande och gående meditation och alla är välkomna att delta, oavsett tidigare erfarenhet. Efter meditationen är den som vill välkommen att stanna kvar på en kopp te.
