MEZI LESY 2026

MEZI LESY is an intimate family festival. It was conceived so that the organizers could share the beauty of the place where they live. It takes place at St. Stephen’s Church in Skřivan near Rakovník, in the church garden, in the village, and its surroundings. Each year has its own main theme (trees, birds, mushrooms), which determines the content of the activities for children and adults and is woven into other parts of the program. The main theme of this year’s third edition of the festival is “insects.” The program will include a lecture by an entomologist, a lecture by an art historian titled Insects in the Visual Arts, and workshops for both children and adults. In another part of the program, participants will immerse themselves in the musical and literary worlds of the performing artists and explore connections with people, nature, and stories.
