Mitten State Tours invades Leatherwood

🌄 Join us for an exhilarating weekend at Leatherwood Off-Road Park in Kentucky! This is our 2nd adventure to one of the newest and largest off-road parks in the USA, featuring over 50,000 acres and 300+ miles of breathtaking trails.

🏕️ We'll be camping in a scenic mountain valley, just 4 minutes from the park's general store! Excitingly, this year offers hot showers and bathrooms for extra comfort. While the camping area is off-grid with no electrical setup, it is easily accessible by your tow rig.

🚵‍♂️ Prepare for rugged terrains showcasing the stunning Appalachian landscapes! Our trails include:

• Green : Similar to green/blue trails in Michigan
• Blue : Significantly more challenging than anything public lands in Michigan offer
• Black : Recommended for experienced adventurers (please don't attempt solo without a rear locker and winch)

🔧 Vehicles should ideally have 33-inch tires (35 inches recommended), and we're splitting groups based on desired trail difficulty.

🛏️ Camping costs $40 per rig for the entire weekend. Trail pass rates can be found on Leatherwood's website. Important details:

1. Email your sign-up to mittenstatetours@gmail.com with the subject: "Leatherwood 2026"
2. Include your name, contact number, emergency contact info, any medical concerns, vehicle details, and desired trail difficulty (green, blue, or black).
3. All vehicles must have {front and rear recovery points} and a full-size spare. A GMRS radio and offline maps of the park are highly recommended.
