👨‍🎤 Our Jazz Ensembles are part of a recognized program, with Ensemble 1 appearing in the Essentially Ellington Jazz Band Competition 11 times since 2000! Notably, they will be competing against 19 top high school jazz bands this year.

🏆 Our musicians have received numerous honors at regional and national competitions, including the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival and the Newport Jazz Festival. This year, junior drummer Luca Manzo was selected for the 2026 Washington All State Jazz Band, and sophomore pianist Sophie Ionitsa will be performing at the Monterey Jazz Festival with the Next Generation Women in Jazz Combo!
