MOVEMENTS returns with an exciting summer pop-up series, celebrating in liberated spaces across Oakland with the gift of resisDance! ✊✨ This event is designed for organizers, healers, dreamers, and creatives to connect, groove, and embrace the spirit of liberation!

Join us for the launch of this 3-part series on Filipino Independence Day at Understory, a Filipinx Queer worker-owned collective restaurant and community hub. It's also Bee's birthday—let's celebrate life together with awesome DJs spinning beats to keep us moving as we plant the seeds of freedom! 🎶🌱

In MOVEMENTS, we emphasize that when we fight, we win, but when we play, we sustain. This is a space for 21+ leftists (NO pigs, capitalists, Zionists, TERFs/SWERFs) that centers and uplifts the QTBIPOC community. Don't forget to register to let us know you’re coming, and to receive reminders!
