• 🗣️ Artist Talks: Engage with renowned mural artists and writers as they discuss the significance of street art.
• 📚 Book Release Preview: Get an exclusive sneak peek of a new book by Charles Gadeken, founder of Box Shop, about the Mural Project.
• 🖼️ The Very Last Mural Tour: Walk and converse with Charles Gadeken, unveiling the stories behind many of the murals.
• 🎨 Art-Making Activities & Skillshare: Participate in a mosaic build with artist Dana Albany and get creative with a collaborative collage project led by artist Hallie McConlogue!
• 🤝 Meet & Greet: Connect with Theo Ellington, a Bayview native running for District 10 Supervisor.
• 🏛️ Open House: Explore The Box Shop with our artists in their open studios. Don’t miss our final Open House in July before we relocate to a new building in Bayview-Hunters Point.

About the Mural Project:

After the COVID lockdowns, we commissioned local artists to enhance our street-facing outdoor space and create new artworks amid uncertainty. Debuting with Mural Fest 2022, this vibrant collection has flourished into over 140 murals painted by a diverse range of artists, from emerging talents to established legends like Jeremy Novy, Reuben Rude, and Fnnch.
