As twilight descends and the flickering lanterns illuminate the streets, the Night Watchman, with his halberd in one hand and a large lantern in the other, appears elegantly clad in a black hat and a grand cloak. He welcomes the guests and invites them to embark on a fascinating time travel through Eggenburg's past.

As night falls, the city becomes quiet, with only a few people wandering the streets. Then, the distinctive call of the Night Watchman rings out: "Hört ihr Leut' und lasst euch sagen..." and a captivating walk through Eggenburg's history and culture begins!

The tour concludes pleasantly at the Stadtcafe zum Josef: enjoy a traditional medieval stew and a glass of fresh Sturm while exchanging stories of the evening's experiences.
