National Jewish Committee on Scouting

The National Jewish Committee on Scouting (NJCOS) has announced its 100th Anniversary Campout at Camp Aquehonga, TMR, Aug. 16-19, 2026 (Week 6), see flyer attached. Troops of all faiths, individual Scouts and Scouters from all over the U.S. are invited to attend. The cost is $175 per person for four days (Sun. - Wed.), including kosher meals. Troops can combine the TMR Campout with a 3-5 day sightseeing tour of NYC through Trek NYC, which is sponsored by GNYC. The NJCOS could have gone to most any Scout Camp in the U.S. to hold this event, commemorating the organization's 100th anniversary. It is high praise for Camp Aquehonga and TMR that it is being held on our camp property.
