Networking For Muslims In Film And TV
Welcome to our Networking Event for Muslims in Film and TV 🎬
A relaxed evening bringing together creatives already working in film and TV, alongside people trying to break into the industry.
Whether you’re interested in writing, acting, comedy, production, directing or simply want to meet like minded creatives, this is a chance to connect, ask questions, and hear honest advice from people already in the space.
The event is open to both men and women, and you do not need to be Muslim to attend.
We’ll be joined by two amazing guest speakers:
Sabrina Ali
Writer and performer behind Dugsi Dayz and the recent BBC short Proper Ladies
Malak Aldean
Comedy TV producer at Tiger Aspect who has worked on shows including Man Like Mobeen and Blue Peter
Expect conversations around:
• Breaking into the industry
• Getting into writers’ rooms
• Finding representation and agents
• Building connections in film and TV
• Honest insight into the realities of the industry
We’d love to see you there!
