Newtown Fire and Flow Jam

Join us for a captivating night at Camperdown Park (Mallet St), where fire (or LED) enthusiasts gather for an electrifying evening filled with friends and amazing music!

🌟 Important Guidelines:

• Respect the park environment: please clean up after yourself.
• No GLASS allowed! If you bring glass and it breaks, it's your responsibility to clean it up.
• Be considerate: children and pets share this park!
• Wait for safety gear arrival around 8:30 PM or use your own if you wish to start before then (fire extinguisher and wet towel minimum).
• Beginners should check in with an event organizer for guidance on fuel types and procedures.
• NO FIRE BREATHING unless previously cleared with an organizer.

💧 Fueling Procedures:

• All fuel must be stored in a sealed container. Open containers on the ground are prohibited.
• Use the recommended 2-bucket system for safe fueling (costing less than $20).
  1. Metal bucket
  2. Small plastic tub with a locking lid
  3. Funnel
• Place the metal bucket in the tub, pour the fuel, and secure it.
• When done, you can store your equipment in the tub to minimize waste.

🙏 If you see a safety issue, please address it politely. We were all beginners once!
This is a FREE community event—no tickets required! Remember: NO GLASS!

📢 Event Details:

• Respect neighbors by keeping noise levels down.
• Switch to LEDs if there's a Total Fire Ban.
• Photographers and DJs are welcome! Message us for speaker details.
• In case of rain, the event will be canceled to protect the sports field.
• Fuel available at Happy Herb Shop in Newtown for $13 per litre (bring your own container).
• No charcoal BBQs and no amplified music after 11:30 PM.
