🌊🚴♂️ Join us at the breathtaking Druridge Bay Country Parks along the picturesque Northumbrian coastline for the Northumberland Aquabike! This exciting event features both sprint and standard distance challenges suitable for competitors of all levels, from beginners to seasoned athletes.
Event Distances:
- Sprint Distance: 750m swim & 19km bike
- Standard Distance: 1.5km swim & 38km bike
🏊 The swim will be held in the warm and shallow waters of Ladyburn Lake, nestled within the park. Afterwards, enjoy a scenic bike ride that takes you out of the Country Park, showcasing the stunning coastal route.
Druridge Bay Country Parks offers a wealth of activities including cycling, running, swimming, walking, paddling, sailing, and surfing! Plus, enjoy our café, visitor center, outdoor play areas for children, and numerous picnic spots. It’s perfect for a fun day out, or why not make it a weekend adventure? 🌄
