offfbeat: Sunday Chillout

offfbeat is back in Berlin and ready for a summer of Sunday chillouts now every month. The journey begins at our home bar of Misirlou in Pberg before we set off on our orbit around the city.

For this edition and in the spirit of the Hexagon Sun collective, we're kicking off with a DIY listening session for the new album "Inferno" by the legendary experimental electronica act Boards Of Canada, out now on Warp Records.

Afterwards, we'll be welcoming some newcomers to our decks. Including:

Lagbaja - A resident of Berlin's most beloved ambient bar kwia, Lagbaja's palette is built off of traditional sounds from a variety of indigenous cultures, which blend into an immersive, electronic landscape.

Dachii - A well-travelled DJ now based in Berlin, Dachii's sets drift between experimental electronics and broken rhythm while exploring sound in abstentia. Beyond the booth, he develops audiovisual works and multi-channel sound art previously seen at Berlin's OXI, Studio DB and kwia.

Ina Vietha - Their energetic and genre-fluid sets have been heard at Berlin CSD, Oslo Pride, Refuge Worldwide and 4Q4 Error Festival. As a multidisciplinary creative and co-founder of Crush Kollektiv, Ina delves into hard energy with a soft heart, and this time will treat us to an even deeper take on their usual sound to close off our night.
