Operating in HealthTech: The Hard Part
Operating in HealthTech: The Hard Part, A Dinner Series
~40 health tech founders and operators. One topic. Dinner covered.
Description
I keep going to health tech events that are either long panels or aimless happy hours. This is the thing I wished existed.
A curated evening for people building regulated health tech — AI, digital health, SaMD, connected devices — who are past the pitch deck and in the thick of it. One facilitated roundtable conversation on a real problem (pilot conversion, regulatory timing, health system sales), then open floor for the rest of the night. Dinner and drinks are covered.
You'll get a short brief afterward with the anonymized themes and takeaways from the room.
The evening
About 2.5 hours. Doors open at 6, light programming in the middle, open conversation the rest of the time. Most of the night is unstructured — the structured part just gives the conversation a starting point.
Seats
We're being intentional about who's in the room. Requesting a spot doesn't guarantee one — we want a good mix of roles, stages, and perspectives so the conversation goes somewhere. You'll hear back within a few days.
Venue
Our venue is confirmed, if your registration has been accepted you should see the location in the invite.
Host Bio
Arvita Tripati spent 18 years as an operator at companies like AliveCor, Vineti, and LabCorp, shipping regulated AI products and watching the same problems repeat across every company. She started hosting these because she wanted a room where people skip the small talk and get into it.
She runs Vahana Labs (strategy consulting for health tech teams) and writes the Operating in HealthTech Substack.
