About the event
The ceramics presented at the exhibition are a part of the collection created more than 120 years ago by a Polish engineer Władysław Kluger. The vast majority of ceramics are examples of the Chimú and the Chancay culture which settled in the middle part of the Peru coast. The oldest ceramics on display come from the Moche culture (200 BC-600 AD). The rest is related to the culture of the Huari (700-1000) and Lambayeque (700-1100) in the northern part of the coast.
