Pitch & Coffee: Meet Friendly VCs & Funders

Meeting investors can feel intimidating. Standing in front of a room and pitching perfectly is not most people’s idea of a good time. So we’re doing it differently.
This is a relaxed, small-group event where you can meet friendly VCs and funders, build connections, share your ideas, and ask questions in a way that actually feels human.
This event is led as part of LSE Generate DNA (Disability, Neurodiversity & Abilities). It is open to everyone, but designed to create a safe, welcoming space for neurodivergent and disabled founders.
How it works:
 • You’ll join a small table with a VC or funder and a few other founders
 • Each table will have a different investor
 • You’ll have time to casually share your idea, ask questions, and get feedback
 • You’ll rotate tables so you meet multiple VCs and funders

You can:
 • talk through your idea casually instead of “pitching”
 • bring notes or prompts
 • ask for feedback or even say “I’m still figuring this out”
This is about making investor access feel more comfortable, supportive, and real. Come along if you want to build confidence speaking about your idea, meet investors in a more relaxed way, get honest, helpful feedbackand have conversations that actually go somewhere.
