Part of A Day at Lövholmen, this event continues our tradition of inviting artists to explore the transformation of Lövholmen from an industrial area to a vibrant residential hub. 🌆

Ljubomir Popović, a visionary Stockholm-based visual artist, delves into the material and social dynamics of urban transformation through his unique installations. He creatively utilizes found materials from construction sites, transforming them into sculptural assemblages that prompt reflection on how political and economic forces shape our environments. 🔍

By recontextualizing construction elements as archaeological artifacts, Popović reveals the embedded social relations affected by urban change. Lövholmen, in its transitional phase, provides a fitting backdrop for his thought-provoking works. His installations foster new forms of spatial awareness, inviting discourse on the ideologies that accompany moments of redevelopment and the questions they raise about community and preservation. 🏗️✨
