🚌 Next, we'll take a bus to Bystrc Pier, where we will embark on a scenic cruise along the Brno Reservoir, leading us to the dock beneath majestic Veveří Castle. This reservoir, established in the 1930s, serves vital functions for flood control and recreation, and it has become one of the most visited spots in the Brno area. Enjoy breathtaking views of the water, forests, and Veveří Castle during this relaxing trip, all included in your tour price.

🏰 Upon arrival, our bus will take us to Veveří Castle, proudly perched on a rocky outcrop above the Svratka River. With a storied history dating back to the 13th century, this castle was once the residence of Moravian margraves and later a summer retreat for Swedish Prince Gustavus of Vasa. After years of neglect, it has been largely restored and now stands among the most significant landmarks in Moravia.

🎨 Discover the “Apartment of Prince Vasa” during our guided tour, showcasing newly restored interiors from the castle’s main palace. We will explore the reception hall, the bedroom of Princess Luisa of Baden, the hunting gallery with its illusory painting, and the grand social salon adorned with frescoes.
