Discover the vibrant sounds of traditional Cuban music right in the heart of the Czech Republic! Enjoy an authentic presentation by the Prague-based music group, Pragasón, inspired by the iconic Cuban project, Buena Vista Social Club.
Led by the talented bandleader and vocalist Jorge Concepcion, this ensemble of nine musicians from Cuba, Czech Republic, Peru, Argentina, and Venezuela will transport you to the rhythmic dance halls of 20th-century Cuba, celebrating the sophisticated sounds of son, mambo, and cha-cha-cha.
Their repertoire prominently features traditional Cuban son, including original compositions by José Angel Samiñón, a Cuban singer, musician, and producer based in Prague.
