🎸 Punchdrunk Saints + Support 🎶

As 2023 came to a close, the legendary Micky Geggus, founder and guitarist of The Cockney Rejects, made the profound decision to leave the band he started in 1979. However, it didn't take long for his passion for music to reignite, compelling him to create something new.

Mick aimed to break the mold of punk rock, returning to his first love: hard, heavy, yet melodic rock. With a collection of new songs in his mind, he ventured into producer Kevin Poree’s studio in Canterbury, laying the groundwork for what would become the debut album of Punchdrunk Saints.

The search began for the perfect band members to bring his vision to life. Though initially set to have Vince Riordan, his former Cockney Rejects bandmate, on bass, the path changed, leading to the sensational Tim Atkinson of Leader of the Down. Tim's skill impressed Mick, and he soon joined forces with the powerful drummer Chris Nedzynski. This dynamic duo emerged as the robust rhythm section anchoring Punchdrunk Saints' electrifying sound.

To complete the lineup, Mick needed a vocalist with extraordinary talent. Thanks to a recommendation from his East London guitar friends, he found the incredible Marc Salmon. Mick was captivated by Marc's vocal control and power, proclaiming, “I thought, ‘wow, we really got something here. This band is gonna be incredible!’” With Mick’s masterful guitar skills, which seamlessly cross genres, the band was finally complete.

Following intense rehearsals, Punchdrunk Saints debuted at London's iconic 100 Club, delivering a performance that thrilled the audience and exceeded all expectations. Their self-titled debut album is set to be released by Cadiz Music on 31st August 2025.
