Join us for an exclusive journey through the historic Rand Club, the oldest members club in the City of Gold, as we explore everything from its basement to its stunning ballroom! 🎉 This iconic building is typically reserved for members only, making this a rare opportunity to experience its grandeur.

We'll dive into the fascinating lives of the Randlords, those who amassed fortunes on the Witwatersrand—and in some cases, lost it all. Before entering the Rand Club, we’ll embark on a picturesque stroll down Main Street and back up Commissioner Street, uncovering tales of these intriguing figures and admiring the magnificent buildings they constructed. 🏢

Here's a glimpse into the questions we’ll ponder:

• Why were so many of these influential men from Kimberley?
• Who was the district surgeon that turned lawyer?

After our enlightening walk—a shorter 2km journey designed to maximize our time at the Rand Club—we'll return for a comprehensive tour conducted by the general manager, giving you insights into this remarkable establishment. 🏰
