Bring your book, a cozy blanket, and join us for a relaxing time in Golden Gate Park! 🌳

Read in the Park is a laid-back, in-person gathering designed for book lovers and those who appreciate great company. There’s no agenda and no assigned reading—just bring whatever you’re currently indulging in, and spend a delightful few hours outdoors with fellow reading enthusiasts.

Our last gathering attracted over 20 avid readers, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Due to its success, we're hosting it again!

What to Bring:

• 📖 Your current read (physical book, Kindle, or audiobook)
• 🧺 A blanket to sit on
• 🧥 A jacket (Breezy SF weather can be unpredictable!)
• 🍿 Snacks if you’d like

What to Expect:

• 2:00 PM → Arrive, find your spot, and settle in
• 2:00–3:00 PM → Reading time! Get cozy and enjoy the serenity of the park
• 3:00–4:00 PM → Conversations! Share what you're reading, exchange book recommendations, and chat about your favorite genres
• 4:00 PM → Wrap up, linger a bit longer, and make some new friends!

Who's Invited?

Everyone who has a passion for books and enjoys the outdoors is welcome! Many attendees came solo to our first event, so don’t hesitate to join us—you’ll fit right in!

Parking Information:

Golden Gate Park can get quite busy on Saturdays! If you're driving, we suggest arriving by 1:30–1:45 PM to secure a spot. Free street parking is available but fills up quickly. Public transit is also a fantastic option!
